En attendant la sortie prochaine de Rainbow Six : Lockdown sur PC, Stuart White (Producteur) et Clint Richards (Lead Designer), seront présents pour une session de chat en direct le 14 décembre à 18h (en anglais).

Pendant une heure, les fans pourront avoir la chance de poser toutes leurs questions sur Rainbow Six : Lockdown, version PC.

Bon j'étais là avec quelques compagnons d'armes, mais personne n'est venu à 18h00 ... On m'a fait savoir que c'est 6pm mais chez eux ... alors bon j'ai pas envie de squatter ^^ la prochaine fois, précisez l'heure avec le GMT ça évitera les embrouilles ...

<RSE-Devs> yes. Voice recognition is implemented but the actual commands are too numerous to list out here

<RSE-Devs> Unfortunately No...the hammer can not be used on other players

<RSE-Devs> we are using our own combat model, recoil affects accuracy but we've put our own touch to how the weapons handle.

<RSE-Devs> theres quite a bit of character appearance customization, including multiple versions of uniforms (Black ops, desert, etc)

<RSE-Devs> depending on the game mode- ctf and rivalry have respawns on, team deathmatch can be played with them on or off. Coop games can also be played with or without respawns allowed. theres a force timer that defaults to 30 seconds.

<Geiger> <oNe|caleb> Can you explain the 3 health bars that appear on SShots ?
<RSE-Devs> it's a gauge of the player's wounded state. One shot kills are possible at any time, but if the character has taken grazing shots, these bars represent how beat up the player or character is.

<RSE-Devs> The screenshots have not had helments because they were not yet implemented. They were always planned, but we wanted to give our fans a look at the game even before they are ready. So, yes there are helments in the game and our screenshots from now on will have helments!

<Geiger> <NaRc_Vexed> What does the bar mean next to the three digit numbers which I assume are the bullets numbers?
<RSE-Devs> It is the amount of ammo left in the current magazine

<RSE-Devs> the functionality is the same, but you can modify the color to what ever you want. It is going to be red by default. This will appear in future screens

<Geiger> <zarz0rz> What MP maps from RavenShield can we expect to see on LockDown?
<RSE-Devs> all of the single player maps will be available as coop types (16 total). We are doing 3 "classic" Rainbow maps and 6 maps from The Lockdown Ps2 game. These 6 maps have all been modified for the PC version.

<RSE-Devs> players can climb ladders, including a fireman slide.... we've never jumped in an r6 title yet and don't plan to start it any time soon http://forums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

<RSE-Devs> running causes decreased accuracy compared to walking. Standing still gives the highest accuracy. Zooming in on a target with a scope or sights also increases accuracy, but prevents running unless the player uses a pistol.

<Geiger> Yes

<Geiger> <zarz0rz> Will there be a HBS like in Ravenshield?
<RSE-Devs> Not a heartbeat sensor, but we do offer other detection modes (a motion tracker, night vision, and a pda camera system allowing mercenary players to view through placed cameras.

<Geiger> <GunMan12> Could you zoom in with your pistol like in Raven Shield?
<RSE-Devs> You can zoom in with any weapon in lockdown. You can also modify several weapons, such as adding a scope rather than using the traditional sights of the weapon.

<Geiger> <oNe|muppet> Is it going to be available "running while scoped" and shooting just like in Raven Shield? And if yes, will it be similar to RvS, or will it work in different way?
<RSE-Devs> you can put a scope on a number of rifles. While zoomed in with these, players can walk or lean, but not run. Using the sniper rifle (wa-2000 with digital scope) the player cannot walk or run, but can crouch or lean left and right while zoomed.

<Geiger> <AGR-S|Deosl> What is "Multiplayer reward system" and how does it work?
<RSE-Devs> we track performance and give session-based rewards at the end of each round of multiplayer games. For example, the player with the most consecutive headshots earns the Sharpshooter reward for the round.

<Geiger> <AGR-S|Deosl> What does the "Virus grenade" exactly do?
<RSE-Devs> It's a mecenary-only weapon that looks a lot like a smoke grenade, but the cloud it spreads is lethal. Since mercs can also use smoke grenades, they can be an effective way to keep rainbow players guessing.
